ATR are excited to host the 2025 Australian Mountain & Trail Running Championships, at our Summer Series event at Cleland on March 16th!
​
The Medium Course will be used for the Open Championship, and the Short Course for the Junior Championship. No special membership, or qualifications are required, this event is open to all. The entry process is as per normal Summer Series entries, and the link is attached below.

We look forward to welcoming our regular runners, as well as all of the interstate runners to Cleland National Park. You are going to love this venue, it's one of SA's best! ​​

ATR Summer Series kicks off on Sunday 24th of November 2024 at Onkaparinga River! The full list of venues and dates is listed below

SERIES POINTS
To qualify for the series awards, you must compete (start) in a minimum of four out of five races. Runners score points for finishing in the top 5 of their age group and the top 5 overall of that particular distance.

** If you start the race and are disqualified or withdraw from injury, this is still counted as a start and will count toward your minimum 4 races, but you obviously will not earn points for this race. If you are deemed to abuse this rule in an unsportsmanlike manner, you can be disqualified from the Series Awards at the Race Directors discretion **

Only the best 4 scores are counted out of the possible 5 races. All age group winners and overall distance winners will be presented with winners' medals at our end of season presentations, usually held in May. Overall distance winners will not be eligible to win their age group category as well. The overall win takes priority over an age group win.

The minimum age for our Long Course entry is 15 years. The minimum age for the Medium Course is 12 years and for the Short Course it is 10 years (unless permission granted prior to event). Please email us for special consideration outlining your child's experience.

NEW "FUN 5" DISTANCE:
We will continue with our new race category called "Fun 5" which will be a non-competitive, roughly 5km run, which is designed for newbies or for kids wanting to step up from the Kids Race. There will be NO medals awarded for top-3 finishers nor the Series Awards in the "Fun 5". We want to keep this fun and enjoyable for all the runners.

$10 Late Fee will now kick in at the same time as the cut-off for "Names on Bibs" which will always be at 9:00am, 2 Thursdays prior to race day.

$15 Extra Late Fee kicks in at 9:00am on the Thursday prior to race day.
​
Final entries will close at 1:00pm on the Friday prior to race day and no entries can be taken on race day.
